TALKS AND TOURS
We're usually open to visitors on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and give curator led talks and tours in the afternoon where you can find out about our collections and see how everything works.
PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS
Do you want more than just a tour? If you want to get a more hands on approach we are also offering individual (or very small groups) printing workshops where you can design, typeset and print a project.
OUR COLLECTIONS
We curate and care for a wide variety of historical items in our collections. Find our more about what you can expect to see in our museum. From Typewriters to printing presses and a wonderful collection of wooden and metal type.
ABOUT THE PRINTWORKS
What started as a fascination with the art of letterforms turned into having a printing press in my garage and then to building a Vintage Printworks in the historic artist's town of Kirkcudbright.
